'Sea Breeze' is a privately owned static caravan sited on the Sundowner park in Newport, Hemsby in Norfolk.   Whilst the park itself is very quiet, in just a couple of minutes walk you can be in the main village resort, or choose to just relax on the sunny veranda with a chilled glass of wine and a good book.

The holiday accommodation is of the highest standard, with comfortable furniture and good quality fittings.  Light and airy but fitted with double glazing and central heating for those chilly days you can be assured of a comfortable stay whatever time of the year you choose to visit.

Entry is via french doors into the lounge/dining area where you will find leather sofas, flat screen t.v with free view and built in dvd player, dining table with upholstered chairs.  A large bay window lets in lots of light with double glazing to keeps things warm and cosy in the spring and autumn months. 

 

The kitchen area has a full sized gas cooker, stainless steel sink and drainer, fridge and freezer, microwave oven, toaster, plenty of storage and all the utensils you would expect to find at home.  

 

The double bedroom has fitted wardrobes and cupboard space, dressing table with mirror, full size double bed with a quality mattress and fixed reading lights above the bed.  There is also an en-suite toilet with hand wash basin.

 

The second bedroom has twin beds with bedside cabinet & reading lamp, fitted wardrobe and small dressing table with mirror.  There is additional storage in large drawers beneath the beds.

 

The bathroom has a bath and also a large separate shower cubicle, wash basin and toilet.  

   

Gas central heating with radiators throughout.

 

 

Sundowner is a small quiet privately owned park with landscaped gardens, ‘Sea Breeze’ is situated in a cul-de-sac with grassy areas and parking is beside your property.   The park facilities include a launderette, small amusement complex, shop and on-site bar/restaurant providing a variety of entertainment.  The sandy beach is just a few minutes walk away via a footpath.

 

Newport is a typical seaside village with facilities including pubs, restaurants, take-aways, amusement arcades, swimming pool, and of course the lovely beach.  It is just half a mile from the village of Hemsby, which you can walk to easily along the sand dunes, and just 6 miles from Great Yarmouth.  A bus service runs from the village. 

 

Great Yarmouth has something for everyone, beautiful sandy beaches, indoor and outdoor attractions, museums, gardens, restaurants and fast food, mile long promenade, bustling town centre and a charming quayside.

 

Explore the Norfolk Broads by day boat, foot, bicycle or car, they are all within easy reach from the park at Newport.  The Trinity Broads are a haven for wildlife, just a 10 minute drive and Wroxham, home to the famous ‘Roys of Wroxham’ and said to be the Gateway to the Broads, takes just 25 minutes in the car.

 

This really is an ideal base from which to explore both the Norfolk Broads and coast.

SAND BANKS - Caister on Sea, nr Great Yarmouth

'Sand Banks' is a privately owned static caravan sited on the Caister Beach Haven Park in Caister on Sea, Norfolk.  The caravan is front line to the beach, wake up to sound of the waves rolling onto the sand and seagulls overhead.


The accommodation is light, airy and modern, fitted out to a very high standard, with comfortable furniture and fittings.  Fitted throughout with double glazing and gas central heating for those chilly days you can be assured of a comfortable stay whatever time of the year you choose to visit.  The caravan sleeps up to 6 people in 2 bedrooms.

Entry is into the hall area.  The spacious double bedroom is at the rear of the caravan, boasting a 5’ bed with fully sprung good quality mattress, reading lamps by the bed, large wardrobes and chest of drawers.  There is also an en-suite toilet with wash hand basin.

 

The second bedroom has twin beds, a bedside table with reading lamp, above bed storage and a full length wardrobe.  The beds can be pushed together to form a double if required.

 

The family bathroom has a large shower cubicle, wash basin and toilet.  

 

The kitchen area has a full sized gas cooker, stainless steel sink and drainer, large fridge and freezer, microwave oven, toaster, plenty of storage and all the utensils you would expect to find at home.   There is also an iron & ironing board provided.

 

In the lounge/dining area there is a free standing dining table and chairs in front of the sunny patio doors, a comfortable seating area and flat screen t.v with free view and built in dvd player.  A sofa bed is available if required for additional guests.

   

Caister Beach is one of the most popular areas of the Haven Park, and ‘Sand Banks’ is lucky enough to be sited front line to the beach, separated only by the protective sand-dunes.  This area of the park is just a few minutes walk away from the main entertainment complex which you can you use if you wish, passes are available to buy separately.  Or, you can remain totally separate from the the ‘family fun’ areas and do completely your own thing at your pace. 

 

The seaside resort of Caister-on-Sea boasts wide sandy beaches backed by grassy dunes. It is located on the east coast of Norfolk, 3 miles north of the busier holiday resort of Great Yarmouth with all its extensive seaside attractions, including a traditional fun-fair, amusements, gardens, museums, traditional circus, restaurants and fast food, and a mile long promenade. There is a regular bus service between Caister and Great Yarmouth.

 

The Norfolk Broads are just 10 minutes away by car.  Spend a day exploring by boat  or relax on the riverbank and do some fishing.   Part of the National Parks family, the Broads are a ‘must see’ part of Norfolk.
